February 2019 Contenders

Wow!  I can't believe it's February already.  While it seems to have arrived quickly, January also seemed to last forever.  I have quite a few books rallying for "contenders" this month as well as a few carry overs from last.  So let's dive right in!

And then of course I have my challenge books!

And then I can't forget this one!  Just shoot me now :)

So have you read any of these and what's on your list this month!

  1. I can't believe we've had a whole month in 2019 already. Surely it was only just Christmas - January felt very quick for me for some reason in fact I can barely remember what happened or what I did! Hope February slows down although it's only a short month. I like he look of An Unwanted Guest - I must check that out.

  2. I'm pretty sure I DNFed The Passage at some point in my past! I just couldn't be reading one book for this length of time Barb! I certainly plan to read An Unwanted Guest at some point as I already have two unread books by the author in my house already!

    1. The thing with The Passage is that I really do like it. It's not "great" but it is worthy of a finish for me. However, trying to read other books while reading it is making it rather hard to get through. Hope to start An Unwanted Guest this week.

  3. No, I haven't read any of those. Props to whoever thought of the title to James Boice's "Who Killed the Fonz?" (probably Boice himself) because if that were my book, I couldn't NOT read that one!

    1. I hope it's good. I've looked for some and all I can come up with is the VM Burns cozy series I am starting.

  11. I hope you love them all! I pretty much stopped making TBRs because I didn’t follow them. It started to seem like a pointless exercise.

Aj @ Read All The Things!

  13. Yes to Magic Burns! I have The Passage but I must admit I am kind of afraid to pick it up since it is taking you so long to get through it.

  15. I'm reading Black Wings but it isn't grabbing me the way I hoped it would. Perhaps it will grab my attention when I pick it up tonight.
