Stacking the Shelves (146)/Sunday Post

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. And it now has a new co-host where individuals can link up as well - Marlene from Reading Reality.  Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page.  I'm also now linking up with the Sunday Post which is hosted by Kimberly@Caffeinated Book Reviewer

I had to run by  the library again this week to pick up a few holds.  I snagged "The Cruel Prince" after seeing so many people rave about it - hope the hype doesn't kill me.  I've had my eyes on "Snowblind" for ages so I finally grabbed it too.  I love horror books set in winter/snow.  Finally I had to continue on with "Chew Vol. 6."

I picked up a couple of things from Amazon for Paul Anka.  "Bone Music" was my Prime choice of the month.  I've read another Christopher Rice book in the past and enjoyed it.  I won't lie, "Blood on the Tracks" came up as an ad when I turned the Kindle on and at $.99 I had to grab it. There is a dog on the cover - he's small, but he's a dog.  It does sound good though.  "Class 5" was a freebie and I'll admit, I grabbed it pretty much based on the cover.

Two authors contacted me regarding their books and since they both look pretty good, I said "yes, please."  "The Nightmare Room" seems to be the beginning of a new horror series and "Her Mourning Portrait and Other Paranormal Oddities" sounds like a really interesting collection of short stories  Thanks to Chris Sorensen and John Brhel.

So what did you add to your stacks this week????

  3. I'm intrigued by Blood on the Tracks as I really want to meet Clyde! I'll need to check out some reviews before I take the plunge though as this isn't my comfort zone. Class 5 looks interesting too!

  10. I love wintry horror, and I'm not even a huge horror fan. But I do like a terrifying snowstorm or whatever. :) And good luck with The Cruel Prince.

  12. I can't wait to see what you think of Snowblind! Have you read his book titled Ararat? That one was pretty spooky! It fell a bit flat for me while I was reading it, but it would make a great film!
