  1. Seeing Little Heaven just reminded me that I was considering doing an end of year list for most disappointing reads of 2017 - I wanted so badly to like that one! Good thing you had so many other great reads to feature though! Thanks for all the fun in 2017, here's an awesome 2018 :)

    1. That's how I felt about it. Maybe once these end of year things are over, I can stop talking about how much I wanted to love it but how much I didn't. I think it's the most used book on my memes for 2017.

  2. This post is wonderful, I enjoyed reading your Annual Year End Survey. You have many books listed that I would like to read in the New Year, The Rules of Magic and The Most Beautiful are at the top of my list. Congrats on reading 102 books this year... way to go!

    1. Jovita, I definitely recommend both of them. They are both such beautiful books in their own way.

  3. It's a fun survey isn't it! Agree about Hunter Shea being a great find this year. I LOVE the cover of Blue's Prophecy and Smooshie is indeed adorable. I might need to read the Orcas book to get it out the way quickly this year by the sound of it! And I'm pone of the people who downloaded Certain Dark Things based on your review...but don't worry, if I don't like it I never blame the blog I saw it on! *grins*

Have a happy and safe New Year and say hi to Mr Barb and give the boys a cuddle from Auntie Chuckles!

    1. I know you'd never blame me :) I know Daniela liked it though. I enjoyed doing this but toward the end, my brain was hurting from doing so much thinking.

  5. This is a fun survey. I haven't done it in a few years, and I totally forgot about it this year (Although I guess I can still do it!) Im sorry to say I've already read Beneath the Sugar Sky and didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the other two books. My review is coming soon. Happy New Year!

  7. 102 books is awesome! And those bethany Blake cozies look so fun...

Forbidden Brdes looks fun, and Afterlife with Archie! I feel like after watching Riverdale I may be ready for this series! Dark Jughead lol. Bummer that Fury of the ORcas was a disappointment.

    1. I checked it our from the library and I'm glad I did because I think it took me 30 minutes to read. It was fine but I expected more.

  8. Looks like you had another great year, Barb. 102 is great. I haven't read too many of the books that made you list this year. I do agree that Two Girls Down is a great 2018 book. Happy New Year!

    1. We usually read a lot of the same things so that's surprising. I though Two Girls Down was great too!

  10. I'm hoping to read Certain Dark Things this year. You already put it on my list, but I feel like I didn't realize there was a dog in it. Little Heaven will make my list as the book I expected to love and didn't, too. Now I'm excited about the new Stephen King, too! I hadn't seen it yet. Here's to an amazing 2018!
