Top 5 Wednesday - Favorite Books So Far This Year

Top 5 Wednesday was created by Gingereadslainey on booktube and can also be found on goodreads.  The link is located HERE.  This week we are looking at my 5 favorite books I have read so far this year. (These are in no particular order)

A Hundred Pieces of Me: Lucy Dillon.  I love her works and have read most of them.  She even tweeted me that she loved my dog's review of this book on my blog which made my day!

A Vision in Silver (The Others #3): Anne Bishop.  This book has made so many lists this year it is almost scary.  LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Revival: Stephen King.  Come on now, it's Stephen King.  My favorite author of all time.  While there are other books which I love better than this one, this one still earned 5 stars.

The Midnight Plan of the Repo Man: Bruce Cameron.  Wonderful characters, wonderful mystery, wonderful writer.

The Ice Twins: S.K. Tremayne.  This plot of this book and its atmosphere are woven so closely together, I found it near perfect.  Not to mention it is a chilling, haunting read.

So what's on your list this week?  Have you read any of these and if so, do you agree with them being on the list of disagree?

  1. Nice list! I've been meaning to read a Stephen King book for ages now. I've started 'Cell', which I liked well enough but put down for something else. 'Under the Dome' is on my shelf too, but it's a pretty hefty book that I don't have time for at the moment unfortunately.

    1. I really liked Under The Dome, and most of the book flew past, but I was somewhat disappointed with the ending. It is worth reading, and most people enjoy it, but it was kind of a letdown for me. Thanks for visiting!

  2. I still haven't read Revival, but it's on my list. I just need him to slow down so I can catch up.

    1. I liked it a lot more than I originally planned. I am usually on vacation around Christmastime, and my husband usually buys me the newest King book so at least that one gets read immediately. It's the ones he releases in the middle of the year that I never seem to get to.

  3. All of these books look so interesting! I especially love the look of A Hundred Pieces of me, I'll have to read it!

The Ice Twins also looks like a really chilling read that I'd enjoy, I'll have to add it to my ever-growing wishlist!
