Stacking the Shelves (84)

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews.  Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page.

It's been a relatively slow week when it comes to accumulating books but hey, everyone needs one of those once in a while.  I have been trying not to request many ARCs for the remainder of the year - only a few here and there, but the one that I did receive this week was one I was really anticipating;

I love The Invisible Library series and am thrilled to see there are at least 2 more books planned in the series.  I adore me some Kai, and hopefully this book doesn't change that.

B & B and Gertie's Paranormal Plantation were both free this past week (and still may be - you'll have to check) and Evelyn, After was my Amazon Prime pick this month.

So what did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. I don't read cozy or paranormal mysteries but I do like the cover designs for them! Even if it does have a cat! This week I'm dealing in dinosaurs, politics, urban fantasy, historical and an apocalypse! Have a great reading week!

  4. I'm really looking forward to The Burning Page as well. Yikes, it's out in a few months, isn't it? I'll have to make a bigger dent in my TBR before I request it.

  5. I still haven't managed to pick up the invisible library books! I hear about them constantly though, so I want to.

    I just grabbed Gertie, looks cute and it's free!

    Have a great week :)

  6. That's a good idea trying not to get too many new arcs. It's something I struggle with and I still have so many ones to read. I only got two new review copies this week, so i didn't do too bad myself. I hope the Burning page will be a good one as it sounds like you enjoyed the first book. I am curious about Gertie's paranormal plantation, will have to check if it's still free.

  7. Ooo, the new Cogman book! I need to catch up in that series. I've been requesting less and less as well - the trouble is with the unsolicited books. Which I tend to stick anyway. So little time these days. D: I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a fabulous week. :)

    Check out my STS post!
