Books in the Freezer Readathon

So Books in the Freezer is a wonderful horror podcast hosted by two Booktubers - Shades of Orange and That's What She Read.  To celebrate their year anniversary, they are hosting a readathon.  Lots of Booktubers are participating and I love horror and I love Halloween so I decided I wanted to do so as well.  It runs Monday, October 1st through Sunday, October 14th.  So here's what I wanna read!

So there you have it.  It's not the only readathon I'm participating in this month but it's one I definitely think I'll have fun with. Let me know if you are joining in as well!

  1. Yay for horror story. The only one on your list I'm familar with is Coraline, which I really enjoyed. Have you seen the movie?

  2. I love horror readathons but the categories chosen don't ever seem to suit me I'm afraid! But I've already got all my reads planned out already for the month ahead and I'm so ready for horror!

  4. This sounds great - I can't seem to stick to things like this anymore but I wish you all the best with your books. I read Coraline a while ago as I was having a massive Neil Gaiman splurge. The other mother is so creepy - and unusually it's one book where I actually think the adaptation is great too.

    1. I am excited to read horror but don't know about some of the books I've picked. Hope they are good. Yes, to be animated, that Coraline movie freaked me out more than some straight out horror films. I watched it alone one night while Mr. Barb was at work and lord it terrified me.

  5. Eeep! I try to avoid horror books, but I do love some mystery and suspense this time of year. I don't like scary movies either. I have a vivid imagination that also applies to my dreams, haha.

    1. Mystery is awesome as well. Sometimes thrillers burn me but there are definitely plenty of awesome ones out there to chose from.

  6. This does sound like something I'd have fun with. I'm so busy just trying to get written and keep straight my 31 Days of Thrills and Chills features for October. LOL Have fun!

I need to read Coraline. It's been on my Kindle for ages. I haven't seen the movie, either. 🍂

    1. I've read The Good House by Due and really liked it although it's been years. I hope I enjoy this one too. The Coraline movie is super creepy.

  9. Oh how I love the month of October! I wanted to do this challenge but had too many must read books for review in the pile :( Next year I need to make sure my calendar is clear. I'll have fun following everyone else though.

    1. I'm not doing as well with it as I hoped. I'm not slumpy, but I might be headed there.
