TTT - Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven't Read

The top 10 weekly meme used to be hosted by The Broke and the Bookish they  handed over the reins to ThatArtsyReaderGirl who can be found HERE.  Each week she will focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.

This week we are looking at books from our favorite authors that we haven't read yet. Since my wishlist/TBR is miles long, this shouldn't be too hard.

This series made Bishop one of my favorites but I still can't bring myself to read book #5 (so sad this part ended even though I know there is a spin-off).

I've loved almost everything I ever read by this author so I don't know why I never started this series.

I love Briggs and I adore this series but for some reason, I ended up stopping when this book came out.  I need to read it.

Cameron's Repo Man Mystery books made him one of my faves but for obvious reasons, I've not started this book.

I've joked that I'd read a phone book by Seanan McGuire if she wrote it and people love this series so I don't know why I've not read the first one.

Everyone knows I LOVE King and I could pretty much include all of these on my list.

I adore Shea's creature features and this one has been on the TBR forever.

No words and no excuses

I preordered this one but I think because it got mixed reviews, I put it off and now I'm scared it will disappoint me

I really have to remedy this one soon.

So what books from your favorite authors haven't you read???

  1. I love the Mercy Thompson books though I'm a couple behind at the moment. I've still to read N0S4A2 and The Fireman of Joe Hill's and a couple of recent Stephen King books I was given, though they are not priority. I've still got about 7 or 6 stand-alone Hunter Shea books to read plus that paranormal series I haven't tried. I'll be reading the Montauk Monster next month!

    1. I've read 3 Hill books but still need to read the 2 you've mentioned. I think Horns is my fave but admit I need to reread Heart Shaped Box because it's been so long.

  2. I tried to read McGuire's October Daye series, but just could not get into it. I can't remember why, but I never did. Ocurred to me, that's kind of like my thoughts on Charlaine Harris' True Blood series. I've read her other work, but just can't be bothered with that one lol

    1. I liked the Sookie books but when they ended, I was reading for it. I actually like Harris' Midnight Texas series better but it was only a trilogy which bummed me out.

  3. I read a lot of Stephen King books when I was a teenager, but other than Under the Dome and 11/22/63, I haven't read a lot of his more recent stuff!

  4. I didn't put Mr. Mercedes on my list but I sort of implied it. I'm way behind on King's books, for shame!

    1. I feel good that I read The Outsider so quickly after its release. That being said, I feel bad I've not touched the Bill Hodges trilogy.

  5. Yep, you definitely need to read Rosemary and Rue! Mr. Mercedes was surprisingly good (all three of them) and OMG NOS4A2!? So good. :)

  6. A Dog's Purpose is mostly happy but definitely most likely make you cry. The sequel is worse!!!! I was a blubbering mess. I didn't do this weeks TTT because I couldn't think of any. I have read all my favorite author's books lol.

  14. I highly recommend Armstrong's Casey Duncan series! It's funny, before I read City of the Lost, I had never read anything by her before, and ironically, I started with a mystery book versus any of her fantasy stuff. Now I kind of want to check out everything else.

  19. I haven't read ANY of these authors yet, which is really quite a fail. Like who hasn't read ANY Stephen King, right? I also really want to read The Others series, and ALL the Kelley Armstrong- I guess time has just not been on my side! Hope you enjoy these when you get to them!

    1. Oh no! A King virgin. You have to read at least ONE this year. I recommend Gwendy's Button Box. As a novella, surely you can fit it in!

  20. The only one on my TBR of your list is Sleeping Beauties. I got a lot of Stephen King on my TBR and I'm slowly making my way through them, haha. I'll get to that one eventually. :)

    1. Me too. I know I've seen mixed reviews so I'm a tad nervous about it.

  21. I haven't yet read Etched in Bone for the same reason. Patricia Briggs' series made it to my list too. I am way behind now. :-( I am a huge Kelley Armstrong fan too. And even just having only read two books by Seanan McGuire, I want to read everything she's ever written now. This is a great list!
